PVC Hack for the Store
My planer blasts shavings all over the store flooring. I chose to make my own dust chute from 4-in. PVC sewage system pipeline (which has thinner walls than routine Arrange 40 pipeline) and a couple caps. I cut a slit in the pipeline and utilized a heat weapon to soften the plastic. That permitted me to open the slit. (Heating PVC launches fumes; ventilation is crucial.) I then drilled holes in the flap and screwed it to the planer real estate. Lastly, I cut a 2-1/2- in. victory of completion caps to accept my store vacuum tube. Functions excellent!– Luis Arce
